Our team is made up of the best craftsmen in Northern Michigan and they take great pride in building some of the finest cabinets, built-ins, furniture, interior and exterior doors and more in house. At MPN with our 11,000 sq. ft woodworking and paint shop, we are able to offer our clients endless custom build capabilities on each project.

MEET THE FACES BEHIND MPN

MPN is made up of a team of dedicated professionals who work with you every step of the way. Our goal is to create the home of your dreams with the highest level of quality and attention to detail. Our approach is simply to guide you through the entire process with careful explanation to eliminate unexpected surprises that can take the fun out of building and new home.

Steve started working for Andy Poineau Woodworking in 1989. Since then, he has developed a passion for the construction industry. Steve enjoys spending time at home or in the Upper Peninsula with his wife, Rebecca, his three children and his dogs. 

This summer will be Gerry's 43rd year working in the construction industry. However, he can remember being on top of a roof, helping another family member build their house at just eight years old. Gerry has lived in four states and is licensed in two, which gives him a diverse perspective of this business.

Tom has lived in northern Michigan his entire life. His construction background started when he was a teen. While working for his father's company, his love for the building trade grew into what it is today. Tom has owned and operated his own company for ten years before joining the MPN team. 

Scott is a native to Northern Michigan. After fulfilling his commitment to the United States Coast Guard in 1998, he became involved in the field of construction. Scott’s military experience has helped him manage projects with a high degree of ethics, professionalism, and pride.

Chris was born and raised in beautiful Northern Michigan. His passion for the construction field started at an early age when he was first employed by his family’s construction business in 1995. This drove him to start MPN sister company “Mapleridge Construction” based out of Traverse City in 2006. 

Jim worked up the ranks in his Father’s construction company starting at age 10. He has run his own company and has been managing projects for over 25 years. The building process has always intrigued Jim and he enjoys making it a pleasurable experience for his clients.

Fryczynski brings over seven years of experience in the building industry. He grew up in the trades
working for his family’s painting/contracting company until he later found a passion for
building/management side of construction.

Chris was born and raised in beautiful Northern Michigan. His passion for the construction field started at an early age when he was first employed by his family’s construction business in 1995. This drove him to start “Mapleridge Construction” based out of Traverse City in 2006. "I strive to create a total team effort to ensure our clients are delivered a home of outstanding quality based on their specifications, desires, and budget. My true passion is in the finishing end of the building process with trim details, stairways, and high-end quality built-in cabinetry. Finish work can really bring out a home’s true attributes.” Chris enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Sasha and two girls Chloe’ and Mia. In his spare time Chris enjoys traveling, the outdoors, fly fishing, and cooking.

He strives to produce the best product for every client and holds the MPN Team to a high standard of performance and quality. “I have always had a passion for building high end homes. I strive to create a positive experience for the homeowner through all phases of construction. I enjoy the challenge of integrating custom details and taking a home from ordinary to extraordinary.” Scott enjoys spending his free time with his beautiful wife Darcy and their daughter Ella. Some of his favorite activities include traveling, cooking, boating, and fly fishing. He also enjoys bird hunting with their dog Bo.

Tom has lived in northern Michigan his entire life. His construction background started when he was a teen. While working for his father's company, his love for the building trade grew into what it is today. Tom has owned and operated his own company for ten years before joining the MPN team. He brings an extensive background in planning, coordinating and executing everything from start to finish in the building process. Tom has an amazing daughter, who's name is Audrey. In his free time he enjoys everything that this beautiful state has to offer. From spending time on the water, to time in a tree stand or time on the sled.

Steve started working for Andy Poineau Woodworking in 1989. Since then, he has developed a passion for the construction industry. Steve enjoys spending time at home or in the Upper Peninsula with his wife, Rebecca, his three children and his dogs. His hobbies include cooking, deer hunting, fishing, working on wood boats, riding snowmobiles, camping, and helping his son with ski racing, baseball, and football. 

Jim worked up the ranks in his Father’s construction company starting at age 10. He has run his own company and has been managing projects for over 25 years. The building process has always intrigued Jim and he enjoys making it a pleasurable experience for his clients. Jim’s objective will always be to deliver top notch project management, professionally executed construction, great solutions and projects delivered on-time and within budget to completely satisfied clients who enjoyed the experience. His 42 year marriage to his wife Shannon (and camping partner), three grown children (Shea, Tec, McKrai), a daughter-in-law Chelsea and two amazing grand babies. He and his family love day trips around Northern Michigan and hanging out in Elk Rapids. Jim also plays ice hockey weekly, does four senior hockey tournaments a year and loves to play couples PickleBall.

Cody brings over seven years of experience in the building industry. He grew up in the trades working for his family’s painting/contracting company until he later found a passion for building/management side of construction. He has also owned his own carpentry business for over three years and is a licensed builder and contractor. In his role as the Project Manager, he is responsible for being the liaison between the homeowner and the building project, the subcontractors, pulling permits, and material specifying and ordering.
